Ann Arbor Comics Fest, this past weekend in Ann Arbor, Michigan, was one of the best shows I’ve had in years, maybe ever. So much love and appreciation for both my comics and Children’s books. I’m humbled and grateful. My table neighbors were wonderful too. Couldn’t ask for more.
Apparently she is a lot stronger then she looks. An M2 with ammo weights over 40 kg.
I have several problems with how this scene came out, but since I wrote it and wasn’t specific enough, and my deadline was tight, I let it roll. It’s frustrating when I go for realism and make several logical errors.
Such as a airplane that small not needing the extra complexity of a split rudder. A 747 has a split rudder to reduce structural loads at high speeds. At low speeds, the entire rudder is used to have enough control surface to control the aircraft. At higher speeds, only the lower rudder is used to control the aircraft, because at higher speeds more air is flowing by the rudder, so you don’t need as large a control surface.
There’s no kill like overkill!
